LocalVibe

What it does

LocalVibe is a social hangout platform for young professionals and locals in Munich. Members create a profile with their interests and hobbies, browse a calendar of curated events, RSVP in a tap and meet people face to face.

Members pay through a monthly, half-yearly or annual membership, or with a one-time payment for a single event. Organisers run everything from a web admin panel: publishing events, managing members and attendees, and sending reminders. The whole platform works in English and German.

The problem

Moving to a new city or working long hours makes it hard to meet people outside work. Events are scattered across group chats, pages and posts, so people miss them. For organisers, RSVPs, attendee lists, payments and reminders take hours of manual work, and a Munich platform also has to work in two languages and meet GDPR.
